The Apple and Adobe debate
I'm going to stick my nose in to a debate that's been raging recently, that debate being Apple and Adobe's apparent platform war.
In a nutshell it goes like this - Apple make the iPhone, iPod (the iPod Touch being the important one in this case) and the iPad - all of see have very capable web browsers and are used by millions of people to browse the web.
Adobe make Flash - a technology that allows for the creation and use of rich Internet applications (RIAs). It was conceived to do things HTML could not and allowed for games, animations and video to be easily added into websites.
